Cool pics, I look quite slim in them, possibly because I'd had fuck all to eat all day as I'd had a serious stomach bug and almost didnt make the gig. I was all set to not drink at all when the barman said "cider is it ?" when I walked in. The healing powers of alcohol seemed to do the trick, all I had on Saturday was various quantities of cider, whisky and vodka
I've got to stress it was Fritz Van Helsing that was 'promoting' that gig, not me - if it had been down to me I'd've had the jocks on (which he agreed to and then renaged on) and had tickets on sale in ripping & tickets scotland and it probably would've been at Henrys - as it was there was fuck all promotion other than the stuff that I had done and it was listed in the papers as being at the citrus club - a farce from start to finish. Fritz is a good guy, but just nowhere near organised enough. Fucking good gig though !

No worries man - I know it was Fritz's decision and there is no sour grapes about it. It would have been nice to play but no big deal that we didn't - Shit happens!!

there'll be a next time I'm sure. just been listening to the tapes - we should've got you to play drums on Born Too Loose at least !
