Gig tonight - Not on Ark TV?
As I am up at 5.45AM tomorrow I was hoping to catch tonights Shock and Awe/Axidents gig on the Internet but it looks like there is nothing doing!!! Bummer - I'll just have to make do with this picture of ripples on the Union Canal and sup a can of Grolsch and smoke a few tabs :-(

ah chaz, ye shoudaa come along - it wasnt live on the net but ralph did a seperate live to tape mix of the axidents (who wanted to play first - I dunno why ? scared to try and follow the world famous...... ? anyway, after shock and awe rocked their socks off -literary (whateverthatfuckingmeans-liketherewassocksontheground?) they played the axidents set through the PA - and it sounded better than it did live !

I believe they wanted to go on first out of fear of shock and awe wrecking the gear with thier drink fuelled zany rock n roll stage act
thus leaving them with no equipment and having to sooth the crowd with an arty spoken word performance.

The thought of The Axidents performing an 'Arty' spoken word show is just mind-boggling. Hopefully we will see the day!!
it did sound good, but when you have amps on stage then the sound varies depending on where you are standing and its a pretty big room
it was probably a good plan to play first, as I did pour one drink over myself through sheer hand to mouth miscordination, I wasnt even pished !
